The Ynys y Fydlyn Collection
Ynys y Fydlyn is a craggy stone stack and islet to the very North of Anglesey. Hidden from view until you venture towards the cliffs from the pebbly beach it suddenly reveals itself through a looming stone stack and gulley where the water crashes in throwing seaweeds and kelp clumsily into rocks and rivulets. On calmer days there are deep rockpools to explore and the neighbouring pebbly beach is scattered with shells and jetsam, strewn with seaweeds and littered with the leftover rings of sea-ground limpets. Traeth y Fydlyn is the perfect stretch of coast to go beachcombing and to watch the breakers tumbling over the barnacle encrusted rocks.
